Supporting childhood cancer research

By taking part in Write a Book in a Day you’ll be supporting vital childhood cancer research. All registration fees and all money raised go directly to The Kids’ Cancer Project.

Thanks to research, over 86% of children now survive cancer. But still, every single day, three Aussie kids find out they have cancer, and a further three will lose their lives to cancer every week.
That is simply not good enough. It’s why The Kids’ Cancer Project exists – to help give all kids the best chance of survival and help them get back to life as a kid.
The money you raise during Write a Book in a Day will help fund further research projects that could save lives, improve and soften treatments, and reduce the harsh side-effects that survivors of childhood cancer have to live with.
For kids like Millie below, research has truly been lifesaving, but there is so much more work to be done. With your support during Write a Book in a Day we can help even more kids with cancer survive and thrive after treatment.

It made me realise that research funding is the important bit.
