Team Information
Write a Book in a Day has contributed more than $1 million to bold childhood cancer research since 2009 through The Kids' Cancer Project.
Every donation brings us one step closer to ending childhood cancer for the 950 children diagnosed every year in Australia.
Our school, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, will put up the money to ensure our team is able to participate in this wonderful event.
Our team of 9 participants will write and illustrate an entire book. The team will be given unique parameters for their story for their chosen writing day, ensuring that no one gets a head start. Every book submitted will also be made available for free to kids in hospitals around Australia. Winners of the ‘Best Overall Book’ and ‘Best Illustrations’ prizes will be chosen from each state as well as nationally at the end of the competition.
