Riverstone High School celebrated Literacy Week in style

“Staff donned fancy outfits and starred in a splendid pantomime as Riverstone High School celebrated Literacy Week in Style. Riverstone High said it takes pride in focusing on the importance of literacy with students also producing imaginative plots for their “Write a Book in a Day” challenge, where the finished books are given to children in hospital”

Principal Karen Downie, who had also had a role in the pantomime, said Literacy Week is one of the staff and students’ favourite events of the year. “It is fantastic to see everyone come together to improve and celebrate literacy,” she said.
